Hungry Kids Outreach was a Success!

On May 4, 2025, Starting Point, you collected food for Hungry Kids in Prescott Valley. This outreach provides food for low-income children who are at risk for going hungry over the weekends. As we come to the end of the school year, the food reserves are running low. 

Jackie O'Dell, who volunteers with Hungry Kids, brought the need to our attention. We announced it on April 28 during the Sunday services. And what a response we had!

"My truck bed, and the back of my truck was full," Jackie said. "I did not have any more room. I dropped it off the food [Monday] morning, and the gentleman was so blessed to see the amount that was brought in. He commented several times, 'Wow, we needed more of this.'"

Thank you, Starting Point, for making a difference in the lives of of our local children. You lived out Matthew 25:40: "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
